During the night of Friday 3rd July, thieves broke in to our office and stole a lot of equipment – mostly Will's music gear – which included a new P.A. we had just bought for use at our events. Those of you who attended the last one at Minsterworth will have seen it being used for the circle dancing we closed with, as well as to play background music.
This was the first time we'd used it and we hadn't yet insured it, so we have to bear a loss of £300 for this equipment alone. This won't prevent us from holding our next event (due in September), but it will be missed as, without it, we won't be able to dance or host lovely singers like Muriel, as we did before.
