This is the classic reference book on angels. It was given to me nearly ten years ago by a kabbalist who had read my first book, Discovering Angels. I was glad I hadn't found it earlier because I was working with the angels inwardly and didn't want to be influenced by other people's books. Recently I have noticed how many angel writers are using this book (and rarely giving Gustav credit!) in order to create their lists of useful angels. If you can find a copy of The Kingdom of the Gods you will be delighted by the exquisite illustrations by Ethelwynne M. Quail, which I find do almost capture the elusive qualities of angel energy.
